Yeah the one where someone is in the Spectre gunship and one on the ground looks great.

COD4:MW was a raging PC success. Why Screw with the formula? My sense is 80% dont care about the changes because it means nothing to them to begin with but 20% do care and well, we got screwed and the other 80% will never know what they missed out on nor will they ever care.

I know what I want in a game and MW2 does not deliver enough to motivate me to purchase. It might be the bees knees in SP/MP as packaged but it's lacking features I (and a fair number of others) consider important. If this were a democracy, no we wouldn't have enough votes to make a difference but that does not mean we do not have a voice in the matter. Look at DICE/EA, they have already come out and reinforced their commitment to carrying on the same dedicated server and game browser that players have grown accustomed to in titles such as BF2 and BF2142 (BF2142 has the best game browsing interface ever, IMHO). If DICE/EA deliver on that front as well as the game play portion in the upcoming Bad Company 2 title, they will have a built in audience of all the players snubbed by IW/Activision in MW2.

Uh, let's not get carried away here - $5 billion - no, $550 million - yes. HUGE difference between billion and million. Even it it was $5 billion, this would hardly scratch the surface as far as helping the economy.

That said, my opinion is $60 bucks for a 5-8 hour frantic clickfest of a shooter with no story is too much....I don't care how nice it looks! And while the majority of the 8 million or so who have purchased the game thus far are probably happy with it, it's not all positive. Regardless, there's no denying its success.

BTW, isn't it just slightly suspicious that the CEO of Activision since the release of MW2 has conveniently sold enough stock to gross him a comfortable $27 million bucks? Quite the coincidence indeed.....

The era of the major motion picture is dead. Welcome to the era of the game.

As much as I hate the guy, its options given as compensation. He's free to do with them as he pleases if compliance signs off and its within the company's trading window.

Common sense that EA stock would look great after the MW2 release.

MW2 is an amazing game. No story ? Have you played it ? Infinity Ward are great at their craft, they are the the bar to which all games are, and will be measured for along time.

So the no dedicated servers (PC) have pissed some people off, you can't please everyone...but some people need to realize it's NOT all about them. This game is being enjoyed by a massive amount of people.

+1

I am having great MP games without the Dedicated servers. the only negative I can give is that when the host leaves the game looks for the best person to take over that role and that only takes a few seconds.

Finished the SP today and it's very good.

host quit 3 times in the same match.....

1 thing that p*ss me off that happened to me when the host quit, is that the nade explode as soon as the new host gets in... so instead of the, let say 3 second fuse, I throw it, maybe .5 sec, then host quit, then wait 10sec for a new host, then waiting 5 sec for the game to continue, then the nade exploded mid air...... WTF

Also I remarked that it happen sometimes that everyone is lagging(big time) execpt the host....
anyway, I have fun nevertheless
