Actually, at first I was pretty horrified by what she'd done, but...

People have mentioned the elbow to the ribs. As for the girl who had her hair pulled, she was pulling on this girl's shorts just before it. So again, some provocation. I play a fair bit of football, and can totally see where she's coming from.

The lady got provoked and punching the other player away was ok. The other antics were not. Provoked or not provoked, she would have been sent off, as she made Vinnie 'the Axe' Jones look like a wussy. I assume he would applaud her tackle though. Regarding the referee and his assistants, they should see an oculist asap.

Speaking about provocations - I hope Mayor Johnson got his well deserved painful, underhand and hidden payback later in that match.

I truly did laugh out loud at that one, I wasn't expecting anything so amusing. Truly an epic moment for Boris, a pity he did not follow up and go all Webb-Ellis by seizing the ball and barging into the net.

Boris really is excellent. Despite being a Tory twat, he makes me laugh like no other politician ever has.

Like I said in my EDIT:"second" post in this thread. This is a lesson most people learn the hard way. Today, it is magnified further because of how quickly a certain information can spread. I can empathize, hope she pulls through. As for me... I was lucky that portable cell cams weren't invented yet during my own tirades.

probable misunderstanding with my post when I said "hope she pulls through". I can empathize but my stand has been and always will be the first post I made in this thread. This is a lesson she has to learn the hard way and the only way for it to be a lesson to her is to take the brunt of all the consequences (being indefinitely banned from the sport is one of them).

When I said "hope she pulls through", I meant... hope she's able to move on (and learn the lesson) cause I am pretty certain that every single time, every minute she's in the grocery, at school or maybe just out in the streets, she's paying the price for that infamy.

I love how the BYU girls kept walking up to her and saying "look at the scoreboard...we're winning". Living well is indeed the best revenge.
