a frozen sea might not be realistic for Europe but the iceberges could be for an alternative FAW terrain...

...adapting max188 Hr winter, still a WIP to eyeball mismatch graphics but does anybody know what gets edited for the sea tile to have land properties because fixing the water palette for BpWater.pcx doesn't work like it does for the coastal/river tiles!

Oooh, that's very good winter terrain
Terrific work on the river ice as well as light dusting of snow.
And very interesting aircraft as well, with skis instead of wheels.
The Finnish Air War (FAW) is looking good.

Very Nice FlyRight,

Up here in the 'Great White North'
ice flows are common place during the winter...

So, you warrant a credibile thumbsup on your terrain....

Cheers mate pilot

thanks, i could only place the broken ice bergs along the coastal tiles because of the redunit water tile, also plan this with a hardwinter snow terrain, maybe adapt FAWs tile system with it as alternative sets??? don't know yet...cheers for now!

...cracked sea ice based on a real polar sea pic and with a less congested version pending

seems somebody overshot the Aleutian Trench and strayed over into the Bering Sea, boy are they lost!

Hey Fly,

for a really heavy snow terrain you might like to have a look at sixpistols winter on my page at sandbaggers... I use it for russian winters.

cheers,

Maxs hardwinter has the nod, some work out there like his should be a benchmark for everything else...in any case, coastal tiles will be tricky with this one...

...maybe not so tricky afterall.
