Finally, I'm back in ArmA2. I'm looking forward to playing a few missions tonight.
Looking down the road, I'm considering some island/map addons to the server. A couple on the short list seem to offer some interesting variety over the stock maps. Still some testing to do, but watch this space for announcements.
See you there!

Hey, you asked for it, and we were on a 4 mission winning steak too! Fatty and I were doin' pretty well as pilot/gunner 'til he accidentally alt-tabbed just as an LAV locked onto us and took us out w/ it's main gun. There's a good chance that we coulda had that mission too if it werent for the SNAFU...
Anyway, good games all around! I'll post my screens as soon as I'm done goin' through 'em, which will be after I get somethin' to eat!

Still some testing to do, but watch this space for announcements. Some new coop missions would be great as well. Maybe we could get a tally on missions (from Armaholic or whatever) people have tested to be good and add them to the server?

I definitely need some practice with that Vintorez lol! I'm using a new weapon/scope sights addon so I wonder if it screwed the range markers up; because I was aiming on the 200-300 meter mildot (even when they were well past that range) and was still hitting waaayyy high...I'll have to check that out. Once I got my hands on the Drugonov I dropped 6 targets in like 20 seconds lol!
good times!

4 for 4. Either we are getting very good or the missions are a tad easy.

Ah, you can solve either of those issues with a couple new missions in your classical style Dec.

Ugh, yeah. Stupid stupid stupid. I was holding 'alt' as the Hind pilot for freelook, and hit tab at the same time to try to lock on to the LAV. Of course that made my game minimize at the critical moment. If I just jinked slightly left we would have been safe behind the silos. I gotta remap that key, or get a TrackIR.
I hear ya on new missions Dirt Diver, it has been soooo long since I've made one. I've got some free time now and some fun ideas, I will try to get some new missions out over the next two weeks.

Fatty, double tap ALT and you'll stick in freelook. Then I just fly or drive with WASD. Works for most, though unguided rockets aren't easy.
And on new missions, those will very rarely come from outside the staff. Magnum will occasionally forward me one. New SimHQ missions will be inbound here and there.

I know about double ALT, however I use mouse for roll and A/D for yaw so I need both. I may just reassign it to CTRL or something.
