I have long been a lover of large bomber aircraft for FS-WWI... And now we can add one more to the planeset!

Mossie is to credit for the 3d mesh, though I'm not 100% who did the skin. This is in the process of being imported into OpenPlane and FS-WWI, and will be the first late-war German heavy bomber for FS-WWI. Aladar long ago created his first-ever project for FS-WWI, the AEG G.III. However it was too alpha of a build to be upgraded to more recent standards and thus has never been any FS-WWI Plane Pack... Now, years later Germany gets a late-war heavy. biggrin

After a days work I have something workable in game:

Very alpha at the moment, but flyable and put together. smile

Ok! Not much more to do... Just need to add a proper bomb load and wing wires.

Rear belly gun area!

I'll run some tests if I can keep the computer running.

Btw. Have you considered adding the option of a 20mm Becker cannon? Apparently some of the LVG built ones were equipped with these for Austrio-Hungary?

Turns out, the nose gun mounted Becker was with the model k of the AEG. Thus, I've added it to the rear gunner as was on some AEG G.IVs:

I give you, the Becker cannon: (3d model and texture by Mossie)

Neat. It's bigger than I anticipated. It makes me wonder how easy it was to use on ground targets and whether the Gotha tunnel was modified. In any case, it looks very interesting.
