You really should wear earmuffs, Corkie. Espesially at an indoor range. A couple of people in my shooting club has tinnius because of inadequate ear protction during shooting.

He's got plugs in. If they're good ones and are in properly, they're every bit as if not more effective than almost every over the ear muff. Mine are 33db plugs, for example.

Doc has the cure for what ails coyotes, bobcats, armadillos and other pests. I keep a pile of 30-round clips filled with Wolf Military Classic 7.62x39mm FMJ on hand for dispensing the medicine.
Doc can take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. And best of all, Doc and parts for Doc is cheap! Doc makes a fine all-round ranch rifle.
