Myself, I've never been a big fan of EEAH or EECH, but I recognise that there are lots of helo sim fans who still enjoy it, and it is the one helo sim that is upgradable and still being upgraded.

I'd like, if I may, to help out when I get the chance. I can't offer any physical changes such as modelling or textures, etc. but I think I can help with the authenticity of the AH-64D Longbow avionics and stuff.

I ask 'permission' before I get involved as I know that there are already a lot of people involved in the modding process, and I don't know if you actually 'need' or even 'want' anyone else. It also shows (I hope) my respect for you guys.

Hey there smile

Arne is the one currently working on Apache avionics (not sure if it's the longbow version - it's a pretty early revision, as he could get a lot of information for it - give him a PM - he might need a hand, someone to test betas, or just more information).

I don't think anyone is precious enough say "we don't need/want any more help" - Arne is the main dev guy at the moment (FireBird does work too - amongst others - some of whom are working cross-platform). I set up a bug tracker which may or may not end up being really useful (I like it - but I'm biased!) and I'm working on some other extensions and bug-fixes (as well as some more global code updates) and there are more people besides that too!

Everyone was straight forward with me when I had a heap of ideas for new development (including pointing out when I was overreaching wink), so as far as I'm concerned, dive right in and give a hand smile

Martin...
