Looks pretty fun. Apparently it supports full 6dof TIR, and if FFB is ok, and the DRM isn't a shocker I'm totally going to get this.

Looks interesting for sure. NOt as strict as a true blue flight simulation but not an arcade shooter masquerading as a flight sim.

Might have to pick this up this winter.

Looks very good.

I will most likely be picking this up.

In terms of the flight model ect., how will it compare to IL-2 1946 on the most realistic modes?

Finally, another game to look forward to!

That being said, should I pick up IL-2 1946? Been wanting to get it forever, but never got around to it.

Yes, get 1946. It is a masterpiece with lots of very interesting situations and very high quality modelling. When you do get it - try to stay open minded: It is a lot of fun flying in a Gloster Gladiator J8a against a formation of Tupelov TB-3s.

Good article. Hadn't heard about this until I read the review. Looks like a good game to play while we wait for that "other" flight sim.

Just pre-ordered. As long as its good fun on-line. Its worth the buy.

What about the view distances? Looks very misty on those screens. Or have I missed it in the interview?
