Hi Guys,

I asked this question a while ago and never really got anywhere with it. Since then I have uninstalled EECH adn reinstalled it using the latest installer for 1.12 (and then adding 1.12.1). I now have 3 installations of EECH on my drive (1.11, 1.12, 1.12.1).

Using 1.11 me and my friend connect almost instantly but ever since 1.12 or 1.12.1 it just sits there "connecting" and the number just keeps getting bigger. We then both run 1.11 again and we're all OK.

We tried disabling the WUT file by remming it out of the eech.ini. We copied the eech.ini from 1.11 into 1.12 and 1.12.1 and still no joy.

Has there been any changes in patch 1.12 to do with multiplayer - we're scratching our heads now. It's great we can use 1.11 as the sim still rocks but we'd really like to take advantage of the fixes in 1.12.

Try changing cgs in eech.ini.

You know what we tried that (I forgot until you just mentioned it) and I got a DirectPlay error and the game CTD'd. I don't get it - it works perfectly in 1.11 - can you think of anything else? Packets haven't changed from TCP to UDP or anything like that?

No, that's the only thing I know about which has changed.

OK I'm being a dumbass - well half a dumbass actually. I only changed my ini file and we tried again with both changed and it works a treat so we're extremely happy. Thanks for the help and the work you've done on making this sim what it is today
