In the profiler I currently use 100% force, springeffect and damping. I've not ticked the centering of springs, but you could experiment with ticking that and moving the slider for the centering effect to 0 (should give the same result but one never knows).
Obviosuly the comined pedals box is un-ticked, the rotation is set at 900 degrees. I'm allowing the game to adjust these settings (don't know if I should).
Anyway, I never use the profiler when driving so it's just these basic settings I fiddle with.
I trust you are aware of the need to sometimes invert the direction of the forces in ISI based games: In the specific game on the tab for force feedback move the slider from positive values to negative, or the other way round. It all depends on the game, the mod, if you use the reelfeel plug-in, and as such this area is a bit of a mess.
Some of the mods for rFactor have different steering wheel options in the upgrades so check the mod for these upgrade options. Last ditch is to alter the steering lock in the car's set up.
But a lot of it is based on subjective feel and preferences. Some like full forces in rFactor, some say no, no, you won't want full forces because of the extra, canned effects.
What was your previous wheel? Almost everyone I know who have gone to G25 have experienced a period of disorientation and not becoming instantly comfortable with the G25, including myself.
