and so it begins... I would have hoped that they would have gotten all these things fixed between the first and second game but the second game was worse than the first one and now the third game is even worth than the other two combined.

The green parts of the car are the parts that can NOT be painted. The only way to change the colors there is to change the whole base coat of the car. The other colors represent each of the 5 paintable sides of the car.

Yeah, I've notice some strange things too. I've just worked around them or avoided them. Sometimes you think you need to put something on the "side" but you really need to do it from the "top/hood".

Some of the more "curvy" shaped cars have more issues. It's sort of understandable, but still frustrating.

I am ok with everything except the parts that they forgot to uv map. the lime green parts cant be painted at all frown

Yeah I ran into this on a couple cars. Maybe it can be patched.
