I have Canon SD1100 (nothing fancy) point and shoot digital camera that is mostly used for indoor family photos etc. My 4 year old got a hold of it and somehow got some gooey stuff on the lens (looks like caramel residue probably from a Halloween candy).
How do I go about cleaning that off without damaging anything? I tried using the cleaner I use for my LCD TV and monitor. It worked a little in taking most of the stuff off but the lens still looks a bit smudgy. I took a test pic and it resulted in a faded/fuzzy circular spot in the pic.
Thanks.
