The Swordfish is in the list but due to a little packing issue it does not show up along with some planes below it. An imminent patch will fix this.

QMB+ can be used by placing it in the MODS section and the pertaining section in the conf.ini. Remember to uncomment the folder and comment the STB subfolder that is also there.

Hello Kadin!

ok, so the Swordfish will be fixed smile
the QMB thingie seems odd-as said, I do have everything in place from my previous UI1.2 install;
I also added the forgotten nations mod and a few others, the QMB+ does show up correctly, Guadalcanal, MTO, Sinai and some others work without a problem, only the 5 Canon maps do not generate a mission-all I get is the "wrong target" message-does not this have something to do with missing quick missions?
could it be that the Canon maps have been named differently from their initial release so the initial quick missions for those do not work with the version of the Canon maps in the UP1.8?

Possibly.
With the assumption that those maps worked in UI 1.2, I would say that checking the name should be easy. See if you can open your quick mission templates in FMB.
The UI team has moved the template subfolder in QMB+, named "Quick", under the main "Missions" subfolder. If you have already moved yours there, you should be able to access all your templates from the FMB.

Great thinking UI Gentlemen!!

there will be a small patch for UP 1.8 in the near future

@ Black Lion:

the best is to have a look at the UP Homepage

http://il2ultrapack.net46.net./

and SAS is supporting the UP

http://specialaircraftservice.com/main/index.php

and you can add every additional mod you want to

I have smile
After utter frustration with Rise of Flight I gave Il-2 another try, actually because of 4.09m, but while I was at it, I gave UP 1.8 a spin...

Btw, the Tiger Moth doesn't work either, but maybe that's allready known...

Sorry, but can you include a "bar free" cockpit for the new Fw 190 types?
It seems the A-7 and later still have the default cockpit with the controversial bar, while the earlier 190s have a better cockpit.
Also, there used to be A-8s with flat canopy and without fuselage rack around somewhere..

...and I fixed my small problem with the QMB either smile
somehow, the quick missions, needed to get missions in QMB running were missing;
recopying them into the quick missions folder solved the issue;

while we are at issues, is it only my install or do many of the "new" Fockes miss a gunsight?
several of those I tested had the reticule in the windscreen but no Revi was to be seen;

oh, and hello back AntEater-how are you?

cheers

Hi Comrade Lev...
I'm fine.
Right now I'm the terror of all shoplifters, drunk drivers and other petty criminals at the Darmstadt Prosecutor's office...
