Greetings,

Is DCSMax even necessary/benificial to realise benifits from multicore systems running 64-bit O/S's now that multicore CPU affinity is part of the latest patch? It would seem not but maybe there is something magical in that code that makes it worth it, still.

Nope, it's not. Multicore affinity has been patched. But it's nice to quickly get into a single mission with your favourite skin on.
