CTA officials and police are investigating why a bus crashed into the side of a house at 115th Street and Vincennes Avenue this morning, injuring four people on the bus and forcing residents of the home to stay with relatives after their home was deemed unsafe.

The crash happened at about 5:40 a.m. as the 111 Pullman/111th/115th bus headed south on Vincennes, said Kim Myles, a CTA spokeswoman. The bus tore through the brick wall of the bedroom and part of the bathroom.
