I'm working... but just conducted a security check at the local Gamestop... party officially don't start till 9 PM till midnight, but crowd is already overflowing, lol.

Should be release parties for Modern Warfare 2 everywhere in this (America) great nation... it just sucks for me that not only is the game waiting for me but also my new MW2 Xbox 360 is waiting... and since on duty, can't pick it up till tomorrow at 10, (when there will probably be another long line).

Who's at or going to the release party? Suppose to be the biggest entertainment launch ever. We will see.

I know I'll be busy for the next 4 or 5 days starting tomorrow around noon. lol

I'm considering it, I can work from home tomorrow which gives me an extra hour and a half sleep.

It's not my place to lecture... but are some parents just plain stupid!

I just did another security check... the game is rated M for a reason yet I see parents (and obviously not gamer parents), standing in line with their 7 to 10 year old kids, and tons of pre-teens standing without parents, (how they going to pick them up, don't you need an ID?)

For one, these kids have school tomorrow, are the parents letting them stay home tomorrow to play all day? for two, it appears to be a little more violent then what those young kids should be playing.

The 7-10 year olds are probably there with their dads who want the game for themselves. Either mom wasn't home to watch them or he's taking them out "for ice cream"...at midnight.
