Lolo,

I have checked my setup and you are right, after all this time you have found a bug in the original SAW files... my machine doesnt seem to need these 's' long distance files to operate but I know some do, so I apologise for the mistake in not including them. However, although your renaming of the files will work, you are replacing the 'D' file ( damaged skin) with the main skin for the damaged models at distance, the correct copy and rename would have been :

DPOS1d.TPC (original) -> DPOS1Ds.TPC (1.28c)
GRND18d.TPC (original) -> GRND18Ds.TPC (1.28c)
GRND59d.TPC (original) -> GRND59Ds.TPC (1.28c)
GRND60d.TPC (original) -> GRND60Ds.TPC (1.28c)
GRND61d.TPC (original) -> GRND61Ds.TPC (1.28c)
GRND62d.TPC (original) -> GRND62Ds.TPC (1.28c)
GRND65d.TPC (original) -> GRND65Ds.TPC (1.28c)

this would place the high res destroyed skin into the low res or distance slot too... the D into the DS slot.... the original S files are the main skin not the damaged one...

cheers,

Pobs

Well Pobs, nice to hear from you (you know these old JG51 days...).

SAW is one of my favourite - you did a splendid job with the SAW team !

I did update my files following your advise.

S!

btw, AO, do you got the 1.28c+ exe??

You can place the Music folder into the scenario folder with it.

Pobs! anybody? want these tankettes? haven't a clue now-a-days what tmods they could replace for Saw or Daw and since the campaigns are back in vogue, they come with complete filing, can zip them up if you'll place them, just post a release somewhere...

...BTW aren't there carriers in Daw or is that Malta? and are they NOW working? haven't any time to view any of this updating!

Yes there are carriers in DAW, but not yet in the style of the 1.28C and FAW ones. They work though so I left them as is.
I'll find Malta on one of my other drives and pack that too.

Hi Pobs,
yes! That's why I was looking for it! yep I remembered it from my original install
on my other computer.

Yep! The new folder system is excellent!
Now I'm just waiting for our scenario makers to adjust some of the files to
make it all work in 1.28c.

Jel, what video card do you use? I know you are able to have EAW run on Windows 7.
I have a buddy who just upgraded to Windows 7 on a new computer with a NVidia GeForce
9400 GT (PCI) card.....but his EAW screens don't look right. They get a little technicolor
looking. In-game the colors seem correct, but the resolution is wrong even thou his ini
is set to 1024 x 768. The game looks like 620 x 480. I'm wondering if that card needs a
different driver?
Thanks guys,
AO

Flyright,

I would love those models, if you dont have my email PM me and we can swap info. Those models would go really well into the italian campaign version of DAW, or into SAW too...

cheers,

Pobs
