You can't go wrong with CProducts mags, either. Get the ones with the self-leveling followers.

Pmag windowed/mag level magazines.

These are great. They more reliable, lighter, and don't scratch up your gun.

Should cost $15 for the non-windowed ones and $17 or so for windowed. Only a few dollars more than the steel/aluminum ones (whatever they are).

The windowed ones are cool because you can see your bullets. Mine are 10 round ones though, so the window is completely useless. Doesn't look like I can see the 10th round even. hahaha

I honestly have not even tried steel magazines, but I will stick with these. I just sold my AK, and the buyer wanted to go $100 lower because of scratches. Even thought it was functionally new. People make such a big deal over scratches, that you should use these if you ever plan on selling your rifle for a decent price.

Here are my two latest "gun"

A really nice 1/4 scale revolutionary war style bronze 12 pdr with a 70 cal bore. The dished wheels and carriage are made of poplar. The 1 lb. can of black powder is for size reference

Another shot of the same cannon along with a 1/5 scale Napoleonic Gribeauval 12 pdr. with limber--all metal and wood, but non-firing

Cheers

I no longer have the Krinker or the SKS-D. I replaced the Krinker with a nordic (similar to Ruger SR-22) and the Fabsports FS-556 (also similar).

Here's the Nordic

Here's a better pic of the M-14S

The SKS-D I replaced with this:

That's a robinson arms XCR.

LOL, FO, I was wondering when an actual gun would appear in this thread!

And many happy returns!

Btw, how many mills of quadrant is "a little push to the left?"

That's a nice Garand Matt. We'll expect a full range report.
