I have Falcon 4.0 v1.0.6 which I think it's the latest official one. I found (unofficial) patches up to 1.0.13. I've googled and done other searches but I couldn't find a clear solution.
I want to update my game to 1.0.13 as, from what I saw on the web, this would be the latest patch. From what I know, patches from 1.0.7 to 1.0.13 are unofficial but in very large use. The problem is that I saw other patches like realism patch 5, the super pack series (I think the latest is 4.2) or the HiTilesAF which I also want installed. I don't know which ones include which.

1. Is my information correct?
2. Are there any other known patches? I mean patches that don't stray from the large use, like modding patches do.
3. Are the patches compatible with each other?
4. What's the order of installation?

The idea is to integrate all fore mentioned and other patches in order to:
- increase complexity, realism, FPS, bug elimination, video resolution etc.
- keep the patches without any conflict between them.
- be compatible with most Falcon 4.0 players (I don't want a specific mod).

If it is Falcon4 Allied force, 1.0.13 is the latest and you can get it here: http://www.lead-pursuit.com/downloads.htm Also, HiTilesAF only works with AF, you need the other HiTiles for Falcon4.0.

If you have the original Falcon 4.0 then 1.08 is the final "official" patch
However there are realism patches, super packs, RedViper, etc. you should try the latest and work back to see which one you like, there are many opinions on this and WARNING you could start a frag war if you get too opinionated on this subject.

FreeFalcon 5 is the newest iteration.

The easiest to install is AF. Install the CD and patch to 1.0.13. Then add HitilesAF. There are other mods like cockpits and weather if you so desire later.

Thanks for replying. Now I'm getting closer to the light
I'm thirsty of realism and complexity so I opted for OF. Though I regret the JDAM custom targeting from FF5.
So many cool extra features of FF5 traded for a little extra realism of OF!
For me it's worth it.
Can you or anybody else tell me how the high res tiles product for OF is called? so to know what to look for.

You should be able to use the HiTiles for the original F4 in Openfalcon.
