Perhaps this was posted before but I haven't seen it.

Does anyone know of any plans for a patch to make at least some of the AI planes in the official 4.09m add-on flyable?

Particularly helpful would be making the I-15bis, Fiat G.55s,, and to a lessor extent the CW-21 flyable.

Then you'll have to visit Special Aircraft Service.
There you can find 4.09m AI planes as flyables with temporary cockpits, only the Letov is missing nowadays.

Also the next official add-on will make some of them flyable with proper new cockpits, so you can just wait if you don't like mods.

If you can wait, the team who gave us the update are making the cockpits for a few of the AI.. this will follow in a later patch..

These planes already are. You just have to know where to look, try here.
