Here's mine, just a small sample, all handguns:
From the top, down the left side and back up to the right:
My 1911 Springfield Loaded .45. A favorite for obvious reasons.
Under that, a Rossi .44 Spl. Sweet gun, but it doesn't shoot that well beyond 25 yards.
Under that, Ruger P89. Nuff said.
Top right, one of my very first, if not the first handgun purchases. S&W 586 in the six inch barrel. .357. I love the handgrips on that gun, very solid and they fit my hands just right. A classic I would never sell.
Under that an S&W Military and Police .38. A gun that came out of the California prison system. I picked it up for what, $150? A freaking steal in today's world. No signs of holster wear on the barrel or the cylinders. I doubt it had fired but a few times. Locks up true and tight every time. A real keeper.
And then, everyone has to have a "garbage gun" or two. This little Rossi .38 is one of mine. I don't know, I just like it.
So, what's yours?

AR-15. 16" mid length. CMMG 1/7 twist .223 upper, Grizzly multical lower, DPMS parts kit and stock.
Liking it a lot. Can't wait to get the sights, ammo, and finally shoot it.
My Romanian/NDS-3 AK, sold yesterday for the AR-15 upper:
Will be buying the wood back for the next AK that I own.
Russian Mosin 91/30:
Sold this a while ago. Never shot it.
Going to finish my AR-15, then shoot it. And then I'll probably get a. 22LR conversion.
Not sure what is next. Probably an AK-74 or another AK type. Maybe an SKS. Not many rifles that I know of that are cheap. At least ones that appeal to me.

Oh lovely! Nearest i ever got to the real thing were 1:1 scale japanese model kits of AK47 and M16, and a S&W M29, a Luger, and a .44 AutoMag. They were quite detailed, fully working actions ejecting plastic bullets.
Cant for the life of me remember the manufacturers name, but there probably banned now anyway.
I know I've posted these a few times, but our gun count hasn't increased, so it's still relevant.
and not pictured...
Since I live in California, I've left my guns with my folks back in texas. I'd love to get my springfield out here, but I'm unfamiliar with the gun laws, and she has a bayonet lug. My carbine I'd love to have as well, but I'm pretty sure i'd have to sell the folding stock, get a friend to remove the bayolug from it, and get a lower capacity mag. Oh well.
Second, head to Calguns.net. You'll have all your CA gun questions answered quickly.
And bayonet lugs are not a banned feature here. That was in the old expired federal assault weapon ban.
For the M1 Carbine, get the normal fixed stock, 10 round magazines, and have fun. Bring those bolt action guns to. No restrictions aside from NFA stuff on those.
I've bought the majority of my gun related stuff from Calguns. Bought guns, ammo, magazines, CA legal devices ect. A lot of nice people.
Got more crappy cell phone pics:
Very fun gun, even in its crappy CA configuration. Going to get some ammo/sights soon, then taking it to the range.
hey flogger what kind of mags do you have with that AR-15? Mine are the basic aluminum cheapo brand and they fail to load sometimes. I need a good brand that works lol

You can't go wrong with CProducts mags, either. Get the ones with the self-leveling followers.

Pmag windowed/mag level magazines.
These are great. They more reliable, lighter, and don't scratch up your gun.
Should cost $15 for the non-windowed ones and $17 or so for windowed. Only a few dollars more than the steel/aluminum ones (whatever they are).
The windowed ones are cool because you can see your bullets. Mine are 10 round ones though, so the window is completely useless. Doesn't look like I can see the 10th round even.
I honestly have not even tried steel magazines, but I will stick with these. I just sold my AK, and the buyer wanted to go $100 lower because of scratches. Even thought it was functionally new. People make such a big deal over scratches, that you should use these if you ever plan on selling your rifle for a decent price.

Here are my two latest "gun"
A really nice 1/4 scale revolutionary war style bronze 12 pdr with a 70 cal bore. The dished wheels and carriage are made of poplar. The 1 lb. can of black powder is for size reference
Another shot of the same cannon along with a 1/5 scale Napoleonic Gribeauval 12 pdr. with limber--all metal and wood, but non-firing
Cheers

Here's a couple from the summer of 08. I got invited to shoot (my cameras) at a private gunshoot. While everyone else got to shoot Tommy Guns and lots of other Big Guns I got to shoot my four Canon HD cameras! It wasn't all work and no play though. I did get to shoot some ammo too. I actually hit the farthest target and got it to blow on my first time. They all said I must have had training somewhere and I said of course...I play Battlefield Desert Combat on my PC!
It was a lot of fun. The target range had light explosives rigged into the targets as well as fireworks (all done by an ex-ATF agent...everyting was legal). If you hit the target... boom! No second guessing if indeed you hit the mark!
Even though I don't own any of these, I thought some of you, especially Tom would like to see them.
Anyway here's a few of the shots.
I hope to get the video done someday soon. Lots of great stuff that weekend to shoot with my cameras. I had four camera rolling recording from all different angles. Needless to say I was exhausted after that weekend.
Caliber 18 inches. Muzzle velocity: 5 knuckles per second. Barrel length: 14 inches. Composite materials: 95 percent Grade A beef, 5 percent fat. And yes you can see the hair trigger.

Aye carumba! Nice pics AG, I am of course, very jealous.
My Dad used to make up some "bang" targets. Steel front and frame with a flapper that had the bullseyee on it. Behind was a hollowed out shotgun shell, primer against the flipper. Hit the bullseeye and the shot went off. Way cool.
Interesting, I've been wondering if I had the chance to shoot a full auto weapon, what would it be? And the result came in, every time: Thompson sub machine gun.

I don't have pictures and they wouldn't be near as interesting as some of the other posts here but I could take some if anyone wants to see what they look like.
I've got a Connecticut Valley Arms. 50 caliber black powder muzzle loading rifle. My Grandfather gave that to me and let me shoot it a couple of times at his friends property many years ago. He put something like 90 grains of powder in it and it was great fun.
I have a Browning bolt action .22 rifle with magazine that belonged to my Grandfather. It was given to me when he passed. I'm pretty sure (if memory serves) its the first gun I ever fired. When he took me shooting for my first time he let me shoot one of his .22s and I think that was it. I think he also started some of his other kids on it. So it holds great meaning to me.
Back around 2001 my Grandfather gave me guidance on my very first rifle purchase. I finally went with a Savage Arms 7mm magnum bolt action rifle. He took me on my first hunting trip. Didn't get anything but the memories are most important. After he passed, his son my Uncle continued to take me on a few more hunting trips out to their friend's property. I eventually got my first and only thus far hog with this rifle. It has quite a kick.
I also have a 12guage single barrel shotgun that I think belonged to my other Grandfather that he must have picked up along the way somewhere. I got a crack in the stock repaired and the trigger guard replaces and have shot it a couple of times.
I also inherited an odd pistol that was eventually used as a stage prop. Its .22 caliber but its a 12 shot pistol. It once had a longer barrel but it was obviously sawed off.
Though I'd like to, I don't hunt or shoot anymore.(never really got to do it a whole bunch anyways especially since my Uncle moved out of state) I just don't know enough to go out on my own. I guess I need to join a gun club and maybe find a mentor or something. Its something I really want to do.

semmern, nice looking gun and with holster!
If you ever shoot it though, watch out for hammer bite (where the hammer comes back after firing and bites the web of your hand between thumb and index finger). Would ruin your range time.

Jeeves, the problem with that item is it has a very limited range, roughly 3-4 feet.
Yea but itll suppress enemies out to 50 feet! LOL!

He's got plugs in. If they're good ones and are in properly, they're every bit as if not more effective than almost every over the ear muff. Mine are 33db plugs, for example.

Muffs are better than plugs because you can still pick up hearing damage through sound being conducted through the bone around your ears, though you should really use both when shooting indoors.

Yeah, I was thinking I should do a long gun picture, but not out by the pool. My handguns pic is pretty complete, except for the Ruger .22 target pistol and the Beretta .25 pocket gun.

Yeah, used to wear muffs, but they're too much of a pain in the ass for me. The plugs are doing just fine. And I think playing punk at high level two times a week with my band without any ear protections is much more bad for my ears than the shooting range :p

My personal experience is that muffs are better.
Earplugs are exacting science, you have to get them in just right. If you don't, might as well not.
And, I found that that GOOD ear muffs are way better. I had some cheap ones I used for years and they were not worth the cheap price I paid. Got some good ones, oh baby what a difference.
Go for the muffs, IMO.

I'm sure muffs and plugs are best, but if you're that paranoid, then you probably put on a poncho to go on the log flume at Disney World (I've actually seen someone do that). I'm a couple months short of 39, have been wearing nothing but plugs since I was 13, muffs before 13, and have been shooting since I was under 10, including indoor and outdoor, weapons of all caliber from .17 to .50, a huge variety of loads for those calibers, and shotguns from .410 to 12 ga slugs, and I have no problems with hearing. I would guess I shoot 10,000 - 15,000 rounds a year. It's like anything in life, common sense.
You probably have a better chance of getting hit by a bus on the way home from the range as you do losing your hearing if you're wearing 33db plugs in properly....and in properly is indeed the key. Good muffs are much more screw up proof but also absurdly cumbersome IMO.
I don't care, but I'm telling you what I do with my kids and myself...that is muffs until they're old enough to properly put in the plugs.

I've fired large caliber guns since I was, oh, about seven years old. And they hurt my ears. We'd go home from a day at the range or out in the toolies and my ears would just ring. It just never occurred to me there was damage being done. We never wore muffs or plugs or even cotton balls in our ears. Nothing.
Years later I began to understand (with my limited capacity for understanding) that what was going on was damage. That pain meant damage. So I started stuffing my ear canals with cotton. Not too great, but better than nothing.
Since then, I have hearing loss and tinnitus, no doubt about that. But when I shoot, which is rare these days, I wear muffs. I remember one time, maybe the last time I went out to shoot, I had the .45 ready and forgot to "put on my ears". BANG! Gawd that hurt.

Will be shooting .223 from a 16" rifle.
One or the other is fine outdoors, indoors you're looking at cumulative hearing damage eventually by not "doubling up". I've got Peltor regular and electronic muffs, and they are so comfortable you almost hate taking them off, could it be that you've got an uncomfortable set of muffs?
I will use both plugs and muffs when I can. However with many rifles the muffs get in the way and I will then just use the plugs.
When I was first in the service we didn't use them. It wasn't macho and old soldiers would say you aren't going to be wearing them in combat so learn to deal with it. Later that changed. But now, ; like 20mm said, I have hearing loss and tinnitus. One of my service disabilities.
Shooting glasses are another thing I am adjusting to post-service. I dislike them. Another thing that gets in the way with some rifles.

Glasses IMO are very important to me...too much gasses, flying brass going every direction (specially SKS's with ceilings and walls), fire flint fragments and hot powder (muzzle loading blackpowder- very fun!). Then there is the threat of ruptured case heads, out of battery ignition...so go try on many different types of eyewear so something works, but do wear SOMETHING!

What a bunch of gun loving nutz! Love it.
I miss my dad's gun collection. The entire collection was stolen at yes, gunpoint. My poor brother got duped into opening the front door and next thing you know he has a nickel plated .45 in his face. Zip tied him and threatened to kill him. They took the entire safe. Drug it down the hallway chewing up the carpet along the way and somehow, still not sure how they did this, but loaded it in our pick-up and then stole the truck. Oh and they also got hundreds of rounds of ammo and all my mom's jewelery.
The only gun we got back, 5 years later was the Uzi. Also, not sure how they opened the damn safe. Must have blown it or torched it. It was a heavy, tough safe.
Such is life.

Still want to get some other parts, but as of now it is complete:
Sight picture (big circle):
Small:
Sight is a Daniel Defense A1.5 fixed rear sight.
Might be going shooting Friday... if not, Tuesday.
And Jason, that is a terrible thing to read. They even stole the truck to. Its not just the cost, but I wouldn't think I'd be able to live in my house if it was broken into.

Thanks, you're right. It harkens back to the day when the US actually produced a tangible product and did it well. Imagine now that the Garand was produced by a chinese company. That's the state that we're in now.
