Muffs are better than plugs because you can still pick up hearing damage through sound being conducted through the bone around your ears, though you should really use both when shooting indoors.

H&R service grade M1 Garand c.1954, nearly 100% "correct" parts from the CMP. Bought it last December. I love to shoot it. It is most choice.

Thanks for the vid Matt, sure does look like fun!

Rick, your "Doc" looks just like my AK. Romanian. I didn't name mine though, is that bad luck?

Nice looking rifle there Biss. Good to see you btw.

Biss's third picture should be titled "Home of the M-1 Thumb". Ouch!

Biss, nice M1. There is something "right" about the wood and steel weapons isn't there ?

I guess that someday I will have to drag out my arms room and do a picture of the whole pile.

Yeah, I was thinking I should do a long gun picture, but not out by the pool. My handguns pic is pretty complete, except for the Ruger .22 target pistol and the Beretta .25 pocket gun.

Yeah, used to wear muffs, but they're too much of a pain in the ass for me. The plugs are doing just fine. And I think playing punk at high level two times a week with my band without any ear protections is much more bad for my ears than the shooting range :p

Huh? What? Gosh, I don't know why I can't hear anything anymore!

Cheers!

Yeah, I've gotten a small amount of tinnitus from metal concerts, so I've cut down on them.

I've got a wee bit of hearing loss from sudden, unexpected detonation of explosives, LOL!

Cheers!
