just got interested in this old game. like any other sims, it has shortcomings. so i tried to make it look a bit more appealing to me.

here is what i have made so far:

new features including: ground effect(air gust), touch down suspension, sound barrier effect.

Nice. Flanker 2 is one of my all time favorites.

The average Naval Aviator, despite the sometimes swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy, and caring.
These feelings just don't involve anyone else.

So how's the experience of playing it in a monitor bigger than a 17" one with 1024 x 768 resolution? Does it look too much stretched/deformed? Anyone playing in a 22"/25" screen?

if the monitor is 4:3 (1280x960 1600x1200 ...) the graphic is not deformed.
wide screen monitors deform the graphic, but these monitors usually have an option to switch to 4:3.
1024x768 resolution looks grainy on big monitors.
