Yeah, I know. No question that Russian Roulette is the best training tool we have!
The Drones are great, though, for getting the hang of where your bullets go, when you press the button. Like they used to use during WW2. A tow plane pulled a large target behind it, and students would make runs at it. Just gunnery practice, not really combat practice. I'd say that once you do the drones, and get the hang of using your guns, you move into the Russian Roulette scenario and actually use it in practice against somebody shooting back at you.
Those two combined, should be all the training you need.
