I have been doing lower level races and have saved up about 70k credits and think I am going to get a decent car and hopefully throw some upgrades into it. But I was curious what other people have been buying? And did you get it at an auction or just buy it outright?

First car, '79 Camaro

Second, Porsche 944 turbo.

I love both, but the Porsche just feels amazing to drive.

Mazda Lola (Dyson).

I used the gift cars for awhile but I bought a Ferrari California on the auction house for 10k as my first paid for car.

I've only bought one car so far. And I waited till I had about 700,000 credits before buying it.

I bought a Viper for 110,000 credits. I ran some races with it (won 'em all) and the winnings basically paid for the car.

But, to be honest, I wish I hadn't bought it. It's just not that much fun to drive. I tend to like smaller cars.
