Are you saying MW2 will not have widescreen support? Got a source... because they could kill it for me finally.

Since most of the consoles are hooked up to widescreen TVs they'd have to actually remove widescreen support for that to be true. I'm calling BS.

it's just a rumor going around...no idea if it's true or not. Basically it sounds like they're locking the FOV @ 65deg so you will have widescreen; but you will have the same FOV (will most likely cut off the top and bottom of what you can see and give no more horizontal view)

PC versions of previous CoDs = 80 degrees field of vision

MW2: consoles + PCs fixed at 65 degrees of vision

Higher the degree of vision the farther back the view is, so you'll be playing closer to the object, the depth of field will be shorter.

Least that's what it sounds like to me. We'll find out in 4 days.
