I have been playing about a year and a half now. I never never seen anything with so much depth as this game.

A little introduction

Tis a bit of a time sink though yep

I stopped playing it, I had to accounts but I really lost interest when I read the forums and found out that all invention is basically chanced based regardless of skill level. I really had no interest in going with folks to do another gate camp. Also got tired of running missions and having folks run in to take the salvage.
Just my playing style.

Never had to do the gate camp thing. Wormhole ops saved the game for me. Tons of fun and lots of cash and cool stuff.

I played it for a while, but never got to where I really had a great time. It always seemed to have a lot of potential, but never reached the point of the big pay off. They did implement some nice changes when I went back for a while, the training queue was sorely needed.
It's a great game and HUGE but I needed something with more action and story, so I switched over to some SP games (with no monthly fee). For those with the time and not playing other games, this would be a great game to stick with.

I really liked the economic aspects of it. But I eventually figured that I was better off paying attention to my real money. biggrin

I like the economic aspects also...but it's really a major time sink.

There is a "new" continual war going on, it's called Red v Blue. I have put one of my characters in Blue and am really having a good time. But losing money like crazy, as I have this sick penchant for shiny expensive ships a modules.

So I have my other guys making money to support my PvP training I guess.
