Suck badly... epic step in the wrong direction... and if you leave it sit for 5 seconds the menu goes away and then you have to hit a button to get it back. What idiot thought up this epic POS. I also dont need a tutorial to walk me through every aspect of the game in slow monotonous fashion.

I am sure its good for new players but for veterans I feel violated.

I agree... pisses me off... and i don't like their real white back ground... kinda blinding... that said, for someone like me who takes screens via a capture card... it sure is nice for screenshot taking when their showing different parts of the track and/or car while waiting for you to select something... but true, stupid presentation decision.

Was not happy with the menus myself. Some things are near impossible to find. Clearly they just wanted to up the "car porn" every chance they had and guiding us through the game became secondary.

As far as the hand held tutorials, I kind of had a feeling this was coming because of their stressing of the new control schemes for new comers. It just really seemed like they were hell bent on bringing in new faces and therefore had to water it down for them. At least the screens can be turned off after hearing them once.

Overall I do like the presentation however, I think it looks pretty classy. I do think they should have included a way to turn off the "car porn" screen saver option which can be annoying as you're trying to decide what to do next in the game.

A couple things in this game really bug me (public MP mainly), but the menus aren't one of them. It's definitely easier to get around to different parts of the game, say from garage to auction house to leaderboards to MP, etc. than it was in F2. Surprises me that people don't like the new setup.

Also, on the audible tutorials, just press X after Mr. Grey Poupon is finished speaking and you won't hear that tut again.

I like the menus functionality wise and I sometimes sit there and stare at the car porn when the menu hides itself.

+1 Jeevz & Maniac

I like the menus much better than those in Forza 2. I like being able to go back to "home" via one button and I have enjoyed the "car porn" too, especially after I finish tuning and painting a car.

My only gripe is multiplayer.
