Hi all,

I have the game installed in its various versions (4.09m, AAA1.1, AAA 1.2 etc) on Windows 7 along with Hyperlobby. My problem is that whilst Hyperlobby searches and finds the exe paths okay, no matter which exe file I select (and save) the game just doesn't load when I hit 'connect'. Hyperlobby disappears for about 10 seconds and just comes back up. All the versions of the game work fine offline. Any clues to the problem and better still suggested solution to fix?

We have experienced this problem with Windows 7 and HL. I don't know what the solution is. But, you should be able join them via their direct IP address. That is what our squad is doin for now, until another solution is found.

Are you running HyperLoby in administrator mode? Its a bit annoying to prompt for escalation every time but it does work.

Yes, running Hyperlobby in Admin mode. Not sure what you mean by prompt for escalation though? smile

Okay, problem sorted! The issue was in my Router settings and not having the game port forwarding info. To fix you need to get into your router and open the 1698-1708 TCP Ports and 21000-22000 TCP/UDP.

They'll have to do something eventually about it because of SOW and Dx11 or can Vista work with Dx11?

This is also VIP for Windows 7. Make sure your Hyperlobby Folder is NOT installed in the default Program (x86) folder on C Drive. Instead install the folder as a standalone on C Drive itself. The same applies for Teamspeak and Trackir5. Don't know why but I and all my Windows 7 friends had to do the same to get the programs to function properly. Until I did this I couldn't get the game to run online through Hyperlobby.

Hey Macka - Vex here.

My dramas have doubled, Hyperlobby can find the .exe for il2fb in all my mod versions and i can click save to get into hyperlobby, but it doesnt actually use them... i can't connect a server and every time i disconnect hyperlobby it wants me to do it again.

New 1 tb hdd today, going to reinstall the game(s) from scratch and reformat my older partitioned drive.
