Trying to contact Jason. We'll see.

Version 7 should work just fine without automatic mission results as manual result entry is still there.

Edited to correct errors, oversights, and bald faced lies ...

RoFCampaign V7 has been uploaded.
http://www.wingsofhonour.com/forums/ipboard/index.php?/files/file/3-rofcampaignzip/

Some notes:
1. Download from WoH requires that you be registered and logged on.
2. To make automatic mission results work properly you have to set mission_text_log = 1 in Startup.cfg.
3. This version is a significant upgrade and probably in need of user testing. If you want to stick with a stable version then please wait a bit.
4. The Gotha has not yet been incorporated.

V7.0
New Features:
- Added automatic mission results generation.
-
- Added intelligence report
- Added pilot leave
- Made AI level user configurable
- Made number of opposing flights user configurable
- Added Airfield MGs (Default is false - set to true in configuration page to enable)
- Wind socks.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed error that can occur if no scout squadrons are available for balloon coverage.
- Fixed "Upped pilot AI ability" (did it wrong in 6.1)

Many thanks Patrick, and hope this set back is brief and gets worked out.

Did I miss something?
Any ideas?

I noticed a change in the last update.
Pre 1.17 the game no longer supported binary logs (lparser). The last patch reintroduced them. I wonder if the txt log is now unsupported. Not tested LParser yet, but the .mlg files are there

Brilliant Pat!

"Mission_ResultsFile = 1 in Startup.cfg" seems easy enough, I was worried it would be more complicated to enable the logging. Are logfiles collected or deleted automatically (from which folder actually)? Maybe the program could delete them after parsing? My IT-Background makes me nervous of anything that continually writes files somewhere...

I will give this a try this weekend, but the download requires a login? Or is that the error you meant?

I get the same error after login, but if you go up one level in the hierarchy 10 other people have downloaded it...

Folks,

I have been tinkering around with the download manager on the Wings Of Honor Forums. For me it is working, for others not. See this topic. If you want to test it then be aware that you need to be signed in. Also if you register there is an admin approval needed as last bastion against spam bots. After this has been made you can post, change user profiles and should be able to download files. Please leave me your feedback in the above linked topic.

As my time is diminishing I wanted to switch to a system where every file author can upload his/her files by him/herself. The only thing that I would need to do is a manual approval of the file(s). This very system works very well on another flight sim community board with about 53000 users. I upgraded my old free board software to the successor which is now payware and I hope I can work out the problems but right now I am puzzled why it works for me and not for others. See link to the topic above.

Cheers

Gremlin

I have had contact with 777 and I have been told that nothing changed per mission results logging. I have asked for clarification as to how to enable logging as of the latest release and I am waiting for an answer. Hopefully I just missed something. I will let you know when I get more information.

Thanks Gremlin for joining the conversation. Hope we can get the last of the issues ironed out. I tried to use Firefox to download and, while the page renders more cleanly, I still get the HTML and not the actual file. Security settings maybe? I do use Norton, but besides that I have a pretty standard setup.
