note: this does not work for the Steam version. wait for Steam to patch your game on friday.

no one commented about item 19 of the fix list:

"19. The game has been modified to only use the original data to prevent cheating or hacking by modifying the configuration files."

modified files won't work after the patch.

i'm starting to doubt that anyone at codemasters has ever even played the original OFP

Does that mean the AI, weapon and difficulty fixes won't work now? I hope this isn't the case as these made the game worth playing...

after reading the Codemasters forum i found that item #20 might answer part of your question. it seems that user created missions can choose an AI config to use in that mission.

"20. Added script command OFP:setAIConfigPropertyValue to allow mission designers to override the AI configuration values found in the global AIConfig.xml file in user generated missions only."

Please remember as well that if you want to continue using the AI mods for example, that they will continue to work with the unpatched version of the game.

there is no change to the FOV with the patch.
