Me too, but then I remembered that it wasnt the DR.1, but rather a prototype with Bentley engine.

I`ve tried doing the half flat spin, which supposedly was done in 1.5 seconds at 8 G`s, It`s down right impossible when flying at a straight line no matter what the stall speed, I found it impossible to do unless I fly upwards at an angle, but according to data on the Fokker F1 (DR.1 prototype.) Another F1 prototype with same specifications as the F.1 that Voss flew, was destroyed due to a 7.4 G load? (OK, Wikipedia.) So maybe because Mccudden was diving at Voss at the time Voss pulled what looked like a half flat spin, if Voss was climbing whilst doing that, it would be easy for a fired up attacker to misjudge the maneuver maybe?

The F.1 had a Bentley engine? Did it not have an Oberursel UR.2 rotary engine? I thought Voss later used capture engine in his planes.

How dare Fokker use an enemies engine in a Fatherland machine.

The F.1 and the following Dr.1's where plagued with the poor construction of the wings. Until refitted with improved wing late, but then she was obsolete.

Anway, ...... love the skin! Would not take much for RoF to remodel the Dr.1 to be an F.1 and use the skin.
