Although i still haven't seen it yet, gotta cook dinner first. Found it at Half Price books for $7.50. Been looking for ages and just happened to glance over and see it.

Saw one of the older F/A-18 sims too (not Jane's) but didn't buy it.

"The Blue Max" is a first rate film and a must-have in any military aviation fan's dvd collection. smile

Like it of course...but these 70' movies have this seventies touch that make them odd to me...look at Richtofen in the movie...he could have looked like the real one but no, they could not cut his hair shorter (the same for aces high or iron cross)...

The aerial filming was great. No computer graphics. The musical score was good, really added to the movie.

I am a big fan of it.

For anyone who has Netflix you can get it streamed to your computer or Xbox360. It is in my queue but I still haven't made time to watch it. Maybe this weekend.

One of the best air combat movies ever IMHO. There are a lot of big names in the cast. Thoroughly well done movie. You will like it.
