So despite the lack of kills im having as more fun than ever.

I'm enjoying the flying for sure!

I just need to practice about a zillion hours to get the required moves down. With my affliction, it's analogous to having the RAM in my brain degraded, so I bog down with new information, just like a PC with too little RAM when it's asked to multitask. I may have loads of hours in RL flying but it was all straight and level, smooth stuff. Actually doing aerial combat is new information for me, so I shouldn't be surprised that I'm freezing up under pressure.

Once I've practiced enough so that dogfighting basics become 'old information,' I expect I'll do better. Just in the last day or so, I'm finding myself much more comfortable flying the Camel and Dr.I in RR...seems like the needed responses are getting 'cached' in my brain...lol! That's good to see though, I can process new learning, just very slowly...but it is taking, so I'm encouraged.

EDIT- just read through your guide .pdf, Squid, some good info there. Nice work!

Love. You can know all the math in the 'Verse, but take a boat in the air you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells ya she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

All this being said, I went back to the SE5 to give it another try & all of a sudden I can stay behind my opponent (sometimes), so did I just get alot better all of a sudden or did they change the SE making her slightly more maneuverable ?
Even had 5 kills one game with only 2 of them as poor deflection shots. (on low skill level of course :))
Loving the SE again !!!!!!!!!!
