Thanks for the write up and video/screenies.

Great read, nicely captures a taste of the enduro--next time, for the win!

biggrin

That video really looks like the speed is accelerated--that was some fast driving around LeMans!

Nope, speed was all real time. The Mulsanne straight, all four miles of it, was shown at actual car speed. I jazzed with the audio levels on the opening scenes engine burble, and kicked it up at the start of the race, butthat's all the messing I did.

Unfortunately that was me at the head of that pileup. I'm not sure you can be over cautious at T1 (proper) of a 24 hour race but maybe I was smile Made for an interesting 1st stint with my wheel at about 15 degrees off.

Anyway, great writeup and video Doug, thanks for that thumbsup

Doug, it must have taken quite a bit of time to edit the video, screens, and get the article in the can. Well done and thank you Sir. Having spent 5 or so hours looking through the Ferrari windscreen, it was great to see how it looked on the outside. Thanks also to Joe for the perfect scheduling. Other than the usual situation of the server running almost 1.5 hours behind the posted times, was right on the money. I only wish that I could have contributed more on the driver side. I can only imagine how well the team would have done with either Vikz or DJCarney driving in my slot.
