I was wondering... I have found some of the old FS2004 planes taht have ben made compatible for FSX on Simviation.com. There's the Curtiss Jenny, the Lockheed(sp?) Vega, the Spirit of St. Louis, and a few others. I'm curious, though... Is there the Vickers Vimy anywhere on the net that's been converted from FS2004 to FSX? I'd really like to get it. Thanks!

Yeah, that's the same one I keep finding as well. Would it maybe be possible to install FS2004 on a separate computer (I don't have the space for both FSX and FS2004), then retrieve the Vickers Vimy files, uninstall it, then convert the aircraft for FSX on this computer and install the aircraft? I know it seems like alot of trouble to go through, but it's the only route I can think of to actually get the default FS2004 Vimy for FSX at the moment. Thanks!

No need to go that far, you can open the .cab files on the FS9 disc's with something like winrar or 7zip and just extract the files you need.

Sounds like a plan... Is there a good FS2009-FSX conversion tutorial anyone recommends, 'cuz I have no freakin' idea how to do this! Lol.

Sorry for the late update on this, guys. I actually simply extracted the files as instructed, then copied and pasted them into FSX like any other add-on. It works great. Thanks for the help. Yall saved me alot of work!
