My old dentist ( retired for 20+ years) had a 'Far side' cartoon taped to the ceiling above the chair. It showed a guy in a dentist chair. The dentist was extracting a tooth with a huge pair of pliers and had his foot up on the "victim's" shoulder pulling on the tooth. He had the skull and part of the ribcage pulled out through the "victim's" mouth

Jeez that Cosby bit and the Conway/Korman bits were too much! I loved the way Harvey Korman could barely keep it contained watching Tim Conway. Great talents.

I remember hearing a story about Tim Conway at a party. He went into the bathroom and found a bunch of Q-Tips and vaseline. He dipped them in the vaseline and stuck a bunch of them to his face. Came out and said the medicine cabinet exploded.

Conway has one of the quickest wits of any comedian of anyone I have ever seen.

I used to have that Cosby bit on VHS, "fire, fire" plus the NOAH bit was hilarious!

I watched the Mark Twain awards where Bill Cosby was honored.
The man is hilarious.

When the day comes, Bill Cosby will be greatly missed. It's amazing how long he's been a part of the fabric of American life.

I saw the Mark Twain awards too and couldn't believe how young he looked in a few of the clips. I doubt he was much more than 22 or so for the 'NOAH' bit they showed.

Last summer my niece was going to the dentist (DDS) for some oral surgury. She was pretty nervous so I had her watch Cosby's classic routine. When she got home she told me all she could think about was the 'rainbow' and "rababinse." I guess it loosened her up - which was my intention.

He and Carlin always had a way of looking at the ordinary and making it unique.

Getting a cavity filled reminded me of this thread.
I kept thinking about Bill Cosby's skit that Guod posted while the dentist was working on my tooth.
You do tend to slide down the chair.
