Just started playing these games again only to realize how incredibly worthless I am at managing multiple units and squads in real-time(more accustomed to IGOUGO-styled games like WinSteelPanthers series)?

Any help with tips from you guys or links to good guides etc would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: Comeon guys, I'm getting my arse kicked by the FRENCH when I'm playing as the GERMANS, THE FRENCH for crying out loud!

-Take your time to think things through.
-Get a notepad to keep track of things.
-When giving orders, adhere to the order of battle.
-Plan your battles and divide your goals into subtasks for your units.
-Practice small unit tactics before jumping into big battles.
