at work we have been given windows 7 ultimate. at home i am running windows 7 beta. both are 64 bit versions. we have a lot of activations remaining at work so i am hoping i can take my copy of windows 7 ultimate home and upgrade my windows 7 demo to the full, licensed version of windows 7 ultimate using the same copy i installed at work.

anyone?

You are probably in good shape if it is an actual 'license' and not the activation code given with a Microsoft Select Agreement. Using your work Select license at home would be 'not good'.

You will need to do a fresh install with the new software.

I know about it Bib... Not acceptable. The end result is an edited, hacked version of the final, and NOT truly representative of the RTM. A full install would be best.
