There will be a selection of alternative skins for use with SPAW posted at the Mod Squad Page at Talley-Ho. The first ones have been sent to Sandbagger and will be posted soon.

Douglas Dauntless as the A24B. This one was based at Papua, New Guinea 1942-3. It is from the 8th Bomb Squadron "The Grim Reapers", 3rd Bomb Group.

thumbsup especially the green Zero with its faded camo is looking gorgeous.

Did you try a Japanese fighter camo with bare aluminum shining through in different amounts - fading to the tail or vice versa?

Fran, I've got a kamikazi that is close to what you ask for. I think it is slated for one of the Mos Squad expansion packs for SPAW.

Iīve read in an article that the Japanese didnīt mind the extreme fading of their camos but they appreciated it producing the effect deliberately. Added a lot to their camouflage breaking the contours of their planes additionally wacky

And bare aluminum did not corrode - the US proved this in late-war wink
