Not a big fan of the season play or campaign or whatever play in any racer... prefer to just race...

but I am addicted to buying cars, bidding on cars, and buying skins in game via Forza Motorsports 3 in game storefront... I play the seasons to get credits... then after a 2 or 3 hour race session I go buy me new cars... got a couple of nice Corvettes and Mustangs today... still not enough for a certain classic vette that was about 800,000 credits... but now I'm saving up for the most expensive non-race class car...

I need 1.5 million credits for the 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C... it will be mine!

I wonder if I started a in game campaign to have everyone donate 1k credits to me... how long it would take for me to get my virtual dream car. lol

I'm just the opposite. I'm playing through my seasons, slow and steady. In fact, I haven't spent $1 on a car yet. Haven't bought a single car. I've only purchased "automatic upgrades".

I was debating whether to save up to buy that same Shelby Cobra. I've already got about $700,000 credits in the bank. I just hate the idea of spending all that money. I might buy a cheap R1 for about $150,000 instead. I can always save for the Shelby later on.

I checked my "stats" and I'm spending about 4X as much time painting cars as I am racing them! LOL!

I have bought a couple of cars along the way, a Saleen Mustang and a Lamborghini for a couple of races. I stopped doing the actual year series races for a while and was just racing stuff on the event list. You still get credits for it and it counts towards the 100% gold medals achievement. I just hire a driver and let him race the ones that would be easier while I get some other stuff done. I only get half as much credits, but it is still ready to rack them up. The only thing it doesn't do is level up me or my car.

I've bought one or two cars sofar. One was an Audi S5 I got for class C oval track champ, as after the first race I looked at the leaderboard and everyone on top had it. Bought it, auto-equipped it, and it goes 15mph faster than the other car I had.

Wroom.

I know, I need more too.... must stop bidding and buying. It's very addicting.

I've got 550,000 but still a very long way to go for that Acura ARX-02a. Even bought the Patron Highcroft paint scheme for the day its in the garage!

You get the ARX-02a at driver level 48, free.

I am assuming that just reaching driver level 50 gives you enough cars to be competitive in every event series. And possibly to get the 1 car from every manufacturer achievement.

Do you get gifted a Zonda? That the last car I need for the achievement and I am hesitant to buy it since its 300k for the cheap one. I'm level 48 btw.
