Don't be too worried yet. I ignored an 'upgrade problem report' for Sims2 recommending I uninstall before upgrading, and everything was there after upgrading, working perfectly. Win7 has the most amazing installer I've ever seen. I spent hours backing up stuff, exporting registry entries etc. and in retrospect needn't have bothered. Everything was still there (sadly, even Sims2). Not so much as a hickup. Absolutely flawless. If only the last 10 years of Windows had been like this...

Yeah, IL-2 is indeed a sim that doesn't seem to age. It will be on my hard drive for a long time to come.
