Oh thanks guys. Now I am so scared I can't even get to the water cooler.
And I was expecting totally something else to get my heart pumping...

I climb trees and do pruning, sometimes swinging over on the rope to another branch, no problem. Did rescue swimming in the service and rappelled out of a helo, enjoyed it. Cuffed in sails on the Eagle with both hands, just balanced on the ropes and sail.
BUT that trail is in no danger of my feet trampeling it! Rotten concrete and rusty steel, OH JOY!

coasty, when you're swinging on this rope from branch to branch, is there a Tarzan yell involved?

20mm, occasionally. My Dad actually knew Johnny Weismuller when he was living in California before WWII, so I took special interest in his movie roles, and learned the yell and swimming early on.

Beach, I'm game, in fact just outfitted with a new Black Diamond headlamp which has a strobe function to add a bit of challenge to that "stroll". It will have to be after this weekend, tho', because I will be on Grandfather Mountain with several hundred Scouts, for the Klondike Derby!!!! Total fun weekend, and the weather will be great, sunny and in the 70's, unlike some years past where it was in the clouds all day and dropped to the single digits overnight. Taking down frozen tents is a real treat.

The other day I did a swing from one limb to another that was supposed to go out and around another one, but did more of my impression of George of the Jungle, watch out for that tree. Ended up with my son having to swing me on over with the rope we were using to lower limbs.
