I needed a bigger harddrive anyway... and 2 wireless controls and a new Xbox 360... so I just pre-ordered the CoD: MW2 Console package....sweet.

Not crazy about having COD written all over it, but it does look good and it's a smokin' good deal with all you get. I would have gotten it too if I didn't just get an Elite and subsequently an Arcade.
Can you verify if it has a Jasper in it?
I was wondering if they were using that in place of the year old Elites w/game offer to get rid of the Falcon chips. That Elite package vanished from stores when mine died (within 48 days) and a replacement couldn't be found. Then these were announced. Not saying the Falcon is bad, but just curious.

I just got the elite pack recently with Lego Batman and Pure included when my old, out of warranty 360 RRoDed. If I wouldn't have been w/out a 360 til Nov. I would have bought the MW2 edition.

I'm loving the 120 gig HDD, I install everything I'm playing now. Pure is pretty fun, especially for a bundle game. It's too bad Lego Batman came in the same box with Pure otherwise it would be headed to gamestop for a trade in.

They'll take it anyway. When I got my 360 it came bundled with Forza2 and Marvel Universe (both in the same box as well). Now, I didn't say you'll get that much for it, but at least they gave me some credit.

Related, I've been thinking of a larger hard drive as well (still on my original 11GB drive in my 3rd 360). It really is nice to install your most used games - I can only do one at present (CoD WaW).

I presume you must also get one of the 'thumbdrive things' to transfer your settings and game progress from the old to new drives?

Check my answer in Master's thread on the HDD transfer question in the Console Tech forum. There's a cheap way to do it (it was even suggested by the staff at gamestop).

but of course... i use a 512 MB Memory Unit for saved games and stuff like that... makes it easy to jump from one of my 3 systems... play a race in the living room, save the replay, go to my PC hooked up one, and can watch and capture the replay... works great for me.
