Is there any way to remove all other post processing effects (HDR and Motion Blur) and keep only the Depth of Field effect?

I don't think so...people have been asking about separate Post Processing effects because of this, but so far nada. I don't mind the motion blur, but the regular blur effect from running (I guess to simulate eyes watering lol) annoys the hell out of me. I mainly use it for the nice glowing effect around tracers and fires.

Oh BTW, whats HDI? Do you mean HDR? AFAIK there's no way to disable that. You can adjust it in your Arma2.cfg in your My Documents folder. look for HDRPrecision=x - higher numbers will make it more "accurate" although it's sometimes hard to notice. I have mine on 32 and it seems to work OK

Yeah I meant HDR, not HDI.

I really hate the motion blur because it causes a small but noticeable lag on the mouse and the frame rate, and the HDR because well it's just too intense!

The Depth of Field on the other hand I think it looks good.

I'll try your HDR setting and see how it looks.

In theory it should be possible to mod this - like Keygets did with the running blur and HDR. What he did was to extract the shader files from the game files and rewrote them so the shaders would do nothing but pass trough the very same image.

I'm not sure what happens if you tried that with DOF enabled, but look for Keyget's No-HDR No Blur mod - not sure if it's been updated to the latest Arma version though.

Actually, the motion blur is to compensate for slow FPS when your turn as the game has to load textures and stuff; so it's not actually the cause (or shouldn't be) for the lag. At least that's the way they intended lol; who knows it could be affecting your system differently

I don't think it's been updated since 1.02 since BIS put in an option to disable PP effects altogether (before PP was always on). The old ver. isn't compatible with anything post-1.02, unless someone has been updating it; but AFAIK they haven't. Search around the BIS forums in the addons/mods forums just to be sure. Also it was NoBlur/NoBloom; HDR is and has always been in the game wink
