This is the to-do list. Please feel free to add any other bugs/wishes. It's pretty apparent that this is not going to all get done in 10.4, but I'll get the Halberstadt in as well as fix some of the worst bugs.

Add Halberstadt CL.II

Bugs:
Player does not show up on top aces.
Squadron/Pilot: name of shot down AC does not appear
Revert to 1.3 scoring and then review
No intelligence report.
Alled flights don’t form up. Not getting formation command?
Make sure SPADs are not armed with bombs for non-attack missions.
Missing buildings in the flight path.
Escort flight types do not show up in intel.
Gotha maneuvering like a fighter.
arty must fire for arty spot
balloon andf WP icon reversal.

Bug
started a new RNAS 3 Campaign with v.9.2, but the airfield problems seem to be still there...
The take off position was "mirrored", there were no buildings and moreover the "offensive" mission route was "mirrored" too
Have a look for yourself:

Improvements:
Flight leader gestures.
Do something for aerodromes.
Change campaign file to XML.
Improve opposing waypoints
Needs a icon
player scrambles
A screen to look at the current mission.

1]. Automatic AAR always on default, please, as you can read on the official forum, there much problems on that.
2]. Reject a promotion in rank or give the leader ship to another flyer before the missions starts!
3]. More historic pilot names, especially in your own flight, any help needed on that, let me know by pm!!!
4]. More static objects around the airfield.

Same complete map as beta career mode please!
Many towns/villages are missing in the campaign generator, and empty grey spaces are imeersion killer...
Thanks

Could we have a windsock placed on the air field again. But this time the location of the pole would be to one side, out of way of the takeoff and landing flight path? Maybe located either next to the last hangar or next to the Ops hut on the opposite side.

Also, could we manage to get the setup of the sortie aircraft on the field for takeoff into the wind as Vander, in the St. Mihiel Campaign mod, has done?

When you get the Intelligence Report (IR) screen up and running again, would it be possible to add an scroll-up/down control to allow the viewing of the information that appears to be written below the bottom of the current IR display window? Several other screens exhibit this same "Info located off the bottom of the display window" issue and cannot be read even with full screen.

I would like to run this from a networked netbook (and play the game on my desktop)... It works fine, but I only have 1024x600 display. Could it be possible to make windows resizable with scrollbars?

Other random suggestion: Transfer type mission when squad moves to new airfield. (probably suggested before, but this thread is huuuge)

Are you talking about removing the new confirm kills AAR (forgot what the correct name is)? This is the one where you claim your kills and they may or may not be counted vs. the fully manual action report and the fully automatic action report.

If so, I hope you don't remove it. I have been using that and it has been working well. Yes, there are cases where I thought I shot down an aircraft and claimed it and the claim was denied. It doesn't happen often though and I consider it acceptable as it helps create some uncertainty in getting kills confirmed.

@arjisme:
No, I am not going to remove that AAR option. The reversion has to do with how I parse the results files. When I did it one way there were some complaints that too many victories were awarded. When I changed it there were many more complaints that too few victories were awarded. Going to go back to the old parsing algorithm.

@OilPaint
Placing the wind sock precisely is tricky because my software doesn't really know where the buildings are. It uses an offset from the flight commander and hopefully that finds open ground in a reasonable place.

@Hurricanes
I am not the best UI guy (just in case you hadn't already noticed smile ). I tried the scroll bars and failed miserably (Using Java Swing for UI). Willing to give it another go but probably not this release.

@Fifi2:
Missing ground objects is one of the bugs on the list.

@Dutch
#1 is known and will be worked on. #2 and @4 are enhancements that I can take note of,but other than getting the Halb into the game the next release will focus on bug fixes. Need clarification on #3. I would definitely like to add more fictional names for greater variety. The names are stored in plain text files with first and last names randomly combined. More names = more variety. If you want historical names, that is more problematic ... possible, but very, very time consuming.

@pat, about the real historic pilot names, you could start in using a single squadron on each country, lets say No56/jasta11/N3-SPA3/94th guess these will be the most popular in campaign mode.
About promotions, like in RB3d, I do not like to be a flight leader. It is my personal opinion BTW, but maybe some have the same opinion.

Thanks for the reply (you can put it in the super low priority list now), I discovered a workaround, set my resolution to have 1024x768 and the whole screen will scroll up and down! biggrin

I grabbed some early 1900s names & surnames from the good old internet and randomized them for my own campaign a week or 2 ago. Here are the lists you (or anyone who wants them) can have them: http://bs.beckament.net/files_pub/FlightSim/rof/pwcg/CGNames.zip

Per the names - the difference is between fictional but historically plausible and real as in the real pilots who flew.

Hurricane, I will definitely get your name list and incorporate it into the list. Thanks.

Dutch, it is the real pilots that is problematic. Each real pilot would have to be handled like an ace. Victories, death, transfer, etc. would all have to be recorded and tested. Also, the campaign is coded to have fictional things happen to fictional pilots. If there were no fictional pilots, or not enough, I'm not sure how the software would respond. It's also part of the fun to try and bring up a fictional pilot. They do improve over time as they fly missions and score, so it is very possible to repeat what MvR did with Jasta 11 in your own squadron.

Short version, while I am amenable to the idea of adding more significant historical pilots (i.e. more aces), the idea of filling a squadron with historical names is not one that I want to pursue.

As to editing flight order - good call. I will add that to the "to do" list. That one will be some time in coming, however. At the moment the code does not know how to edit a mission once it has been created, so it will take a fair amount of effort to make that happen.
