Yes Testchamber did a real nice job. I like the way he represented it. Also dito on a place here for custom skins where all of us can post them. I'm fine with anyone who wants to post theres here. thumbsup

Ok. This was done for womenfly. It's very rough around the edges but I'm going to post it anyway. I could spend allot more time on it. I'm just saying I for one am not happy the way it turned out. Maybe later I'll improve it or some one else can fine tune it. Enough jibber.

Pretty much anyone can do what they want here. I just started this thread to put links and pics of all my stuff in one place.
So anyway. What's your next project?

Don't know. Haven't decided yet. I could do with finding some good ref of colour schemes for Dr1's....until then I might just work on a personnal one.

I've finally found my Windsock profile book on the Dr I and should be able to post some really interesting historical schemes tomorrow. Might be worth a look. One aircraft, 588/17, appears to have been pale blue overall under the olive streaking, rather than natural linen - a bit like Voss's pre-production aircraft. Makes it quite unusual.

Cheers,

RD.

Colourful Dr Is follow. All bar the last from the Osprey book. The last from Windsock. I hope these inspire some of our talented skinners. Both books are great reads, btw.

Cheers,

RD

Edit - removed, but take my word for it, they were pretty wonderful - RD.

Folks, let's try to avoid showing pictures of pages from books, especially those still in print or within copyright.

It's legal mumbo-jumbo that a link is okay but a pic ain't, but while love makes the world go round with money greasing the axel, it's the lawyers that hold the stop watch to make sure it stays at the right speed.
