Hi Stelto,

yes, you be right, some new cockpit files got lost at one stage, we will offer a D/L asap!

Greetings,

The cockpits were set up to use a total of 75 instruments instead of the original 20. Now all fighters can use the same number and type of instruments in the 3D cockpit (which was limited to 20) as the 2D cockpits do (which has no limit). Now, if you can find space on the X.tpc file (which in the future should be larger) you can set up a correct bomber cockpit including an engineer's panel in the cockpit rear, or on the floor when using a bomb view window.

The download has the wrong VCG files in it. The artifical horizon is not counted as the others are. The exe is expecting 50 more entries before finding the horizon, and it is not there. That is why it is missing...

Cheers!

I repacked the DATA.CDF with the correct vcg files; in addition you also need the modified GAGEDESC.STG file or you will get a crash if you accidently hit Alt-F1. It is contained in the TEXT_ENG.CDF file. You need both files to correct this.

I put the two cdf files in a zip. They are here:

http://rapidshare.com/files/301129646/EAW_1.28c_patch.zip

Just unzip into your 1.28c install

Knegel, could you please repack these in the installer and update Jel's link, and send one to Sandbagger as well? I will send these to him as a patch.

Cheers!

The install in the link in my signature has been replaced with a version which includes CJ's CDFs.
