On the DR1 port wing there a guage. What is it?

On both the Camel and the DR1 there an anometer type device on the starboard side. What is it and what's it used for?

Left side of Tri is speed-o-meter. It actually moves if you're stationary and there is wind. Kind-a cool.

The Camel's is a relative wind-driven generator, I'm fairly certain. No idea what it's powering, but it has the right look.

The Dr.I's anemometer driven ASI is calibrated in km/hr, if you look closely smile
