Question 1: Can the standard D7 template be used and work properly for the D7F? At a glance they appear to be about the same.

Question 2: What governs the presence of a radiator cover? Is it the alpha channel for that part or does a part in the normal RGB channels have to be a certain "invisible" color value?

THe alpha does decide on cover on or off. There is two defferent ones.
THe engine off alpha is blacked out on that part.
You'll see in pic the skin change from the link above.

I think online custom personal and squad paints can contribute to increasing a sense community identity with ROF. Which of course is good if this game is going to continue to mature properly. Even if it means we'll have to download ahead of time, that's cool. I remember Flybert's MP Paints for RB3D and what a cool community paint repository that was.

Musicman, where are you man? We need your skins in mods off mode. You need to make a pool for approval at ROF website and you need to provide info about your skins you want to be included. You did some great skins and your skins are needed. Currently we have only few for Se5a and you made 2-3 colorful historical skins which I would like to see in mods off. Can you send them for approval or you can authorize me to do it for you. Now i have time.

very nice musicman, as always..pitty I gave up on all this with skins since approval thing + description for languages and a fact that approved skins would be seen only if someone downloads them sucks....they could approve few best historical skins for each plane and to include them in udpate....on top of all Lefty is riding again.....with his old "glory"....

I had a big mistake on that first Bishop.
I fixed it and changed the download link on the posts.
I had the grill too transparent. It was total see through.
